Like i said its just something weird that was bothering me every time i went to the gym...You can imagine turning from some one who sweats and salt granules actually forms on their skin to some one who has totally tasteless sweat!!!! To any one it would weird but those are important little things one should keep aware of... It turns out that i was normal back when i used to sweat real salt right onto my skin (used to play basket ball and soccer back then)
I googled this topic and found a bunch of stuff that scared the hell out of me!!!
During exercise, if excessive water intake dilutes the sodium outside the cells, too much water seeps into cells and they swell -- including brain cells. The symptoms progressively appear and the athlete feels weak, groggy, nauseous, incoherent, and then may experience stumbling, seizures, coma and death.
DEATH????:monsters-

After my 2 mile runs i experience very minor grogginess, of course i feel weak for a minute or two (but that quickly subsides because my routine demands that i bench 220 right after my run, i just upgraded to 240 today) and worst of all symptoms i experience is the stumbling...I dont really walk and fall over the place but my legs totally feel that they might give and i might wobble a couple of steps...I always thought it was acid build up in the muscles that caused this...
The condition i fear that i may have is hyponatremia which is mostly a shortage of soduim due to excessive intake of water. (I drink about a third of a 16 oz bottle of water while running. and more after i am done running and this is pretty much after the symptoms have set in...) This condition is supposed to set out when you drink too much water and dilute the soduim outside that cells , then water seeps into the cells causing them to swell...
Now here is the kicker, i normally consume more table salt than the typical person..Every morning in my eggs i consume about 2 to 3 pinches of salt plust i eat lots of processed meat like ham, turkey breasts and all those meats found in subs that have lots of soduim..In home cooked meals, i find myself eating more salt than most people can bare thus if i am cooking for more than one, i have to limit the salt in the dish and add mine separately!!! Unless my kroger store has been lying to me about the kind of salt they sell , i would have to say my salt intake is not average...
Which all does not make sense!!!! I eat too much salt, yet i have tastless sweat, i seem to suffer symptoms of hyponatremia which is brought on by over hydration which i dont actually do during my running!!!! I also run a mere 2 miles,
two friggin miles!!!!! with a minute break every half mile to boot!!!!
Weird stuff... I think i will have to go to a doctor and have this checked out because after reading a few pages which listed heart conditions and liver cirrhosis, or causes of such conditions brought on by excessive beer consumption (which i totally quit about 5 months ago)
